GoodWay

Model
GoodWay®

The Foundation develops the GoodWay® Model, an original method for supporting human development and relationships.

Methodological concept of the project

Its purpose is to develop an original model for supporting the development of marital and partner relationships, grounded in Viktor Frankl’s logotherapy and the work of Elisabeth Lukas. Its first tool will be a digital platform using artificial intelligence.

The application is a tool that implements the model’s assumptions; it is not the model’s essence.

The essence of the project is to create a complete methodology for supporting the self-reflection of people in relationships, enabling the systematic development of responsibility, dialogue, shared values and a sense of meaning in family life.

The model uses artificial intelligence solely as a moderator of the development process. AI does not diagnose users, interpret their mental state, provide therapy or replace specialists. Its role is to guide the user through a structured reflection process aligned with the developed methodology.

The model can be delivered through different tools:

  • a mobile application,
  • online platforms,
  • educational programs,
  • workshops,
  • training materials,
  • programs for organizations,
  • online courses,
  • future technological solutions.

This keeps the developed model independent of a specific technology and allows it to be developed and implemented in different settings.

The project is interdisciplinary and combines achievements in logotherapy, social sciences, development-process design, artificial intelligence and digital technologies.

Its overarching goal is to create a new standard for supporting the development of human relationships through a structured process of self-reflection based on values, responsibility and the search for meaning.

Definition of the model

The GoodWay® Model is an original, interdisciplinary model supporting human development and the quality of interpersonal relationships, grounded in Viktor Frankl’s logotherapy and the work of Elisabeth Lukas.

The model is a methodological system describing how to conduct a structured process of self-reflection that supports the development of responsibility, values, meaning and the quality of interpersonal relationships.

The model is not an application, a digital product or a therapeutic service. It is an independent methodological structure that can be implemented in technological, educational and organizational forms.

Purpose of the model

The purpose of the GoodWay® Model is to:

  • support the conscious development of interpersonal relationships,
  • develop the capacity for self-reflection,
  • strengthen a sense of meaning and responsibility,
  • improve the quality of life decisions,
  • support balance between personal and professional life.

The model is neither diagnostic nor therapeutic in nature.

Theoretical foundation

The GoodWay® Model is based on three main pillars:

Logotherapy

According to Viktor Frankl’s concept:

  • people are guided by the search for meaning,
  • the freedom to choose one’s attitude is a key resource,
  • responsibility for one’s own life is the basis of development.

Relationship development

Interpersonal relationships are treated as a dynamic process that requires:

  • conscious engagement,
  • reflection on values,
  • work on communication and responsibility.

Structured self-reflection

Human development takes place through:

  • regular reflection,
  • structured questions,
  • conscious decisions,
  • a repeatable development process.

Structure of the model: five components

Meaning

Identifying the meaning of relationships and life actions.

Values

Defining individual and shared values as a foundation for decisions.

Responsibility

Developing awareness of the impact of one’s attitudes on relationships and the environment.

Dialogue

Structured support for communication and interpersonal reflection.

Development

Treating relationships and life as a continuous process rather than a final state.

Principles of the model

The GoodWay® Model is based on the following principles:

  • no psychological diagnosis,
  • no classification of disorders,
  • no clinical interpretation,
  • no therapeutic role for the system,
  • supporting user autonomy,
  • axiological neutrality of the AI system when assessing the user,
  • promoting reflection instead of instructions.

Role of technology (AI)

Artificial intelligence in the GoodWay® Model serves as:

  • a moderator of the reflection process,
  • a guide to the question structure,
  • an organizer of development paths,
  • a tool supporting the regularity of the process.

AI does not:

  • diagnose,
  • assess personalities,
  • interpret disorders,
  • serve a therapeutic function.

Structure of the GoodWay ecosystem

The GoodWay® Model is an overarching methodological system that emerges and is refined on the basis of research and projects carried out within the Foundation’s programs. Each program develops its own operational model:

Lovlithe RDPM model — values, goals, relational decisions
Vitaeduothe MRSM model — reflection and stabilization of marital relationships
Otherfuture programs, including individual-development programs

Research results and experience from the programs co-create the GoodWay® Model; in time it will also cover personal and relational development. The programs are not a simple “deployment” of a finished model — together they build it.

Scientific character of the model

The GoodWay® Model is:

  • methodological,
  • interdisciplinary,
  • applicable,
  • open to empirical validation,
  • technology-independent.

It is the subject of scientific research and a foundation for research and development projects.

Development and funding opportunities

In the future, the GoodWay® Model may be developed through, among other things:

  • research partnerships,
  • training and education,
  • application implementations,
  • licensing of the methodology.

The project’s value comes from the model, not from a single application.

Commercial use is envisaged as a phase after research validation, may be carried out through a separate company, and its aim is to fund the Foundation’s mission, not commercial activity by the Foundation itself.

Fundamental significance

The GoodWay® Model is an attempt to create a new approach to digitally supporting human development, in which technology does not replace reflection but structures and supports it. The overarching goal is to improve the quality of decisions, relationships and a sense of meaning in human life.

The GoodWay® Model is not a product. It is not an application. It is not a service.

It is a methodological system that supports human development through structured reflection based on meaning, values and responsibility.
